Review by Lita Thomas: ★★★★.5

Trusting Nicole (The Last Hangman, MC #4) by Muriel Garcia is the next installment in the Hangman saga. This is Nicole and Jason’s story. Nicole is Gabe and Aleck’s baby sister. She has been going to college out of town but after her being kidnapped along with Vivian and Jason’s wife, Nicole now goes to college in town. Jason is having a hard time after the death of his wife and it seems the only person who is able to get through to him is Nicole. Initially Jason needed to know what had happened before his wife was killed and since Nicole was there she was able to give Jason the information he needed. Then we find out that Nicole and Jason know each other from when she was in college and not only do they know each other but they share a past. Nicole is not as innocent as everyone has believed and her actions from college have followed her to New Orleans. Jason has secrets of his own that we never knew. First of all he is a very troubled and disturbed individual. His parents were killed in front of him when he was four and has lived a life where he has had to do terrible things. To top it all off Jason is really not a cop and he is at a cross road in his life working for the Hangman. He also has to contend with his feeling for Nicole who is 13 years his junior. His past is coming back to cause him trouble as well as Nicole’s since Jason helped cover up what Nicole had done. Jason has to endure a lot to be with Nicole not only does he have to get past her brothers but the President of the Disciples. Jason killed his parents and Nicole killed his brother. Loved the characters, the story and all the different aspects of Jason’s life. He has a very interesting as to how he became who he is today. I give this installment of the Hangman saga 4.5 O’s.    (O’s for Orgasms)

The story is one of many twist and turns. Ayden and Anthony trying to find each other is not easy and there are quite a few obstacles in their way. A very good story with suspense. I give Saving Ayden 4.5 O’s     (O’s for Orgasms)

Teaching Aleck:

Review by Lita Thomas: ★★★★.5

Teaching Aleck (Last Hangman MC, #2) by Muriel Garcia is the next story in the Hangman series focusing on Aleck. He is not your typical biker. He comes from a very wealthy family where he was not loved by his parents. Aleck and his sister relied on the nanny for everything. After the death of his sister he had a hard time dealing on his own. He is now in school to be a lawyer a profession his parent chose for him and he is miserable. One night he gets into a fight with one of his friends who just so happens to be Anthony a member of the Last Hangman MC. After getting the crapped beat out of him he gets an offer from the President of the club to get his self together and join the club. Not only is Aleck mourning the death of his sister he has become a drug addict as a result. The club has helped Aleck with his issues but he still has a lot going on with him and his biggest problem is he stays away from relationships. One day at the club Ayden’s best friend show up Charline. Aleck is thrown for a loop but there is 2 problems one she is too young for him and two he only does one night stands. Unfortunately for Aleck there is something about Charline that he cannot stay from. She stirs something in that he cannot explain. One day Aleck gets a call that she is in trouble and somebody has ran her off the road. A rival club is messing with the club through the woman. As a result of someone stalking Charline Aleck has to rethink his feelings for her but the fight he has with himself is taking a toll on the both of them. Theirs is a story that was told in way that I truly enjoyed and what finally comes out is totally unexpected. I give Aleck and Charline’s story 4.5 O’s.

Healing Gabe:

Review by Lita Thomas: 4.5 ★★★★.5

Healing Gabe (The Last Hangman, MC #3) By Muriel Garcia tells the story of Gabriel Lyle who at the age of 18 finds himself after the death of his parents the guardian to his 8 year old sister. Gabe does the best he can trying to take care of his little sister when he has no clue what he is doing. On his 21st birthday he is out trying to enjoy himself when he comes across a young lady who is being harassed by some guy. He intervenes to help her and the guy Gabe runs into is a member of a notorious motorcycle club. Fortunately for Gabe Cabe comes to his aide and offers him protection and help by way of joining the Last Hangman. Gabe’s story is one of heart break something he never wants to experience again. After joining the hangman Gabe finds himself dating Anne, the twin sister of the young lady he helped at the bar Vivian. Vivian and Anne lost their parents young and are the ward of their uncle who has promised them to The Last Hangman’s arch rival. A gang that is notorious for committing heinous crimes against women.  Anne and Gabe end up having to sneak around in order to be together. After being found out Annie is killed, Vivian leaves town and Gabe was badly beaten. This is why Gabe has had nothing but one night stands. He is closed off because of all the lost he has experienced. Years later Vivian comes back into town and into Gabe’s life. The past has come back with a vengeance especially after what has been going on between the two clubs. This was another good story of The Kings trying to take down the Last Hangman with many twist and turns.  An added twist was introduced at the end of the book that I did not expect and was truly surprised. I give Gabe’s story 4.5 O’s

AUTHOR BIO:

Muriel Garcia was born and raised in
Belgium. She started writing a little over a year ago and never thought she
would ever publish; reading and writing weren’t her favorite things to do in
high school.

After one of her friends gave her a
challenge – the next time they would attend a book signing, she would be a
signing author (it did happen!) – she started to take writing a lot more seriously
and never looked back. She’s enjoyed every second of it and the friends she’s
made along the way.

She loves music, tattoos—especially on
hot men, traveling, and cooking. She has always had an overly imaginative and
creative mind but never thought of putting words to paper. Now she couldn’t
imagine not writing stories that are near and dear to her heart.
