☆Synopsis: Dark Kiss
Secrets and demons from Evan Lawson’s past pull this strong man to the edge of death where only the whispers of a mysterious voice can penetrate his darkness.
A young woman dedicating her entire life to her career and family comes face to face with a heart stopping magnetic man who has the power to make all of her dreams come true or completely destroy her.
Evan is a self made world renowned restaurant mogul who is cold and distant, pushing anyone attempting to enter his life away with intensity. Until the night he hears Mia Galloway’s soft alluring voice calling to him through the murky waters of his unconsciousness.
Love is a foreign notion that neither Mia nor Evan had ever planned on, in fact both had sworn it off entirely. After going through a horrifying kidnapping at the age of 19 Mia made a conscious decision to never get involved with a man….ever. She has dedicated her life to healing others and loving her family and friends. Evan and his demons from the past have shaped him into the dominant, controlling cruel man he is today. The scars from his childhood run deep and the memories of a tormented mother and a father in denial of his wife’s illness bind him emotionally and make him believe he is incapable of love.
Evan and Mia are thrown together in the ICU after he drives his car over the edge of a bridge, killing his passenger immediately. Evan was rushed to a private Seattle hospital where Mia is his nurse. She works at drawing him from his coma but has no idea who she is actually summoning. The man who went over the bridge in that car, the man known to his family and co-workers as “The Beast” teeters on the brink of death, ready and willing to make his way to hell. But when he feels the magnetic pull of Mia’s presence, hears her luring whispers, feels the electric voltage of her touch on his skin…..he knows….he’s not going anywhere…..not until he can see the face that belongs to his savior’s voice…..
☆Review by Lisa G:
How can a person be friends with an Author on Goodreads, Facebook and Instagram and not have read any of their work? That is a question I will be asking myself for weeks to come. THANK YOU, Amy Lynn Garcia – I look forward to reading more from you in the future, you are amazing – your characters, words, EVERY. SINGLE. SYLLABLE! How is this your first book? Where have you been all my life?
The heroine, Mia: she took my breath away, her past – such a dark awful past, yet she overcame and is such a strong woman. Mia is an ICU nurse – how could you not love her from the start? The hero, Evan: Oh my Evan! He also has a dark past – much different from Mia’s, yet this makes him beyond swoon worthy. Mia “meets” Evan when he is her patient in ICU. You know that feeling you get when your heart sings and your tummy flutters? Mia had all that – here is the kicker, Evan was unconscious! You wouldn’t think it is possible, yet it was and it was beautiful! Oddly, Evan while unconscious, was also feeling that same pull. When Evan wakes up he wants Mia and wants her NOW! Evan is a successful intense bossy business man with a heart larger than life. He gets what he wants when he wants it! Couple the two of them together and you have a spark that will light the darkest of nights. WOW, hello, tingly feelings *fans self*!!!
The twists and turns I did not see coming, they blew me away – I could not put this book down! There is a cliffhanger, and the great news is books TWO and THREE are already released – I cannot wait to start the second book and as a matter of a fact it is locked and loaded on my kindle!
4.5 well deserved Stars!

…and the whirlwind of emotions continue – HOLY MOLY MACARONI!
Where do I even begin? …from be the beginning, I suppose. Dark Thief begins right where Dark Kiss ends – remember that cliff hanger? Phew and I thought maybe just maybe my heart wouldn’t beat any faster – I think it may come right out of my body! I did not expect my emotions to take such a toll, I’m at a total loss right now and so grateful book 3 of the series is out and on my Kindle – ready and waiting! If you thought the first cliff hanger was rough – you haven’t seen anything yet!
I thought Mia was a strong woman in Dark Kiss – good god – she is SUPER WOMAN! She amazes me – I am completely drawn to her, I think my heart beats at the same pace as hers!! We learn so much about her background in Dark Thief – everything makes sense – every thought she has, every feeling.
Evan? Oh my, Evan! His words…. “You’re my Angel sent straight from Heaven to save me, you know” “My heart beats only because yours does Mia” Can we say swoooon?!
Who would have thought the words Yes and No could have so much meaning?
Wow – just wow!

☆Review by Lisa G:
If you have not read Dark Kiss or Dark Thief – please read prior to starting Dark Love as this is the last book in the series.
The whirlwind of emotions were continuous in this final chapter of Mia and Evan’s lives – I laughed, cried, got angry – every emotion was brought out in this book. I will honestly say for a little while I began to dislike Evan, such a surprise to me since I loved him so much in the first two books. In the end, I fell for Evan all over again and he once again stole my heart. Mia – I’ve been drawn to her from the beginning and yet again she proves how strong she really is. This couple deserves such happiness, I am so relieved to see they FINALLY get that happiness – they saved each other.
“When I walked into room 8 and saw him sleeping in that bed life as I knew it was over. I didn’t know it then, but I know oh so well that he saved me just as much as I saved him.” No truer words have been spoken.
“you go, I go” – this will forever remain in my heart as one of the best lines ever written.
“God does make miracles. Evan drove off that bridge, and God gave him a second chance at life” How many people turn away from their second chances? We all need to be grateful each and every day for what we have – and if we are lucky enough to get a second chance at life – grab it, take hold of it and LOVE the life you are given.
4 Stars – Great job, Amy!

☆About the Author:
Amy Lynn Garcia was born and raised in West Des Moines Iowa where she continues to live with her family. Amy works in a local hospital as an obstetrical nurse specializing in the care of high risk pregnant women. Amy is also the proud mother of five daughters and grandma of one granddaughter. In early 2014 after reading upwards of 300 romance novels in a years time a coworker planted the seed of writing her own novel. Never having written anything but always up for new challenges she decided to give it a whirl and wrote a synopsis for what eventually became Dark Kiss. She showed it to several friends and asked if it would be something they might be interesting in reading, the response was a resounding “Yes!” from everyone. With that confidence booster she began writing and in the fall published her first romance novel Dark Kiss which is the first in The Two Sides of Me trilogy. Dark Thief, book two was completed and published in January of 2015 and the final installment Dark Love is currently in the works and will be released in the spring of 2015. “I never imagined writing a novel let alone a romance novel! I’m addicted to sharing the feeling I used to get when reading my favorite books and I can’t imagine my life without writing now.” Amy says she will always work as a nurse in some aspect but after releasing the story of Evan and Mia there is no way she can deny the compulsion to develop new characters and write romance novels.
