Damaged Goods (The Damaged Series, #1) J.C. Hannigan is a young teen story of a young girl trying to find herself and a boy who has issues and a wall built around him that no one can penetrate.  Everly is a shy girl who lives in the shadow of her popular sister and pretty friends. There has always been this one boy who she has a crush on, bad boy Grayson. During the seventh grade Grayson ends up getting in trouble and never comes back to school. Senior year Everly decides she no longer wants to be the shy wallflower. She has been singing and now has decided to enter the fair talent show. She gets a makeover which includes a new wardrobe and hairdo. On the first day of school no other than Grayson walks into her first period class. The feelings Everly has had for Grayson have not changed in all this time. Things are changing for Everly she is coming out of shell. She now is a part of a band where one of the guys has a crush on her but Everly still is crushing on Grayson. At a Halloween party Everly ends up spending time with Grayson. This is their story of trying to find their way. She is all the way with her feelings for Grayson but Grayson is guarded and comes right out and tells her he no good for her. Thiers is a struggle of a good girl and a boy who is only use to hook ups. A story of self-awareness and discovery. However there is another book and their story is not over. I give this book 4 stars.  I was gifted this book for a honest review.
