This was the first time that I have read any books by Taylor Johns. I really enjoyed this quick read only 114 pages per Goodreads. I loved the smart-a** mouth on Lillian Williams. I think she is giving Xavier James a run for his money! He needs someone like her and I think that is why he is falling hard and fast for her. He is used to girls being selected for him to bang on a desk in his office. Lillian doesn’t come along easily and I think that is the kind of girl he needs.
I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more in this series. This was not an ARC and I can’t remember where I saw it recommended but, glad that I read the book. I can’t wait to read more.
I give X-Treme Confusion 4.5 stars.

X~Treme Confusion Part 2 is a continuation of Lillian & Xavier story. And, it isn’t pretty. Taylor Johns didn’t wrap this book up with a pretty bow. In fact she left on a HUGE UGLY Cliffie!!!
X~Treme Confusion Part 2 is a Novella so it is a fast read thank goodness. There are times I love Novella’s especially when I have deadlines I am trying to finish up but, just want to read something that is on my kindle TBR and this book is.
Knowing that this is Taylor Johns second book she has done a great job. Kept me entertained and I didn’t want to put down the book. Oh and the sex is HOT & Steamy!
Now I must move on because I just had to go and buy the X~Treme Confusion Part 3 since I have to find out what happened.

| X~TREME Confusion Part Three is another book that I love. Pretty much this book starts where part 2 left us hanging off a cliff. Xavier is a heel. No he is worse than a heel. And, he doesn’t want to face his demons and he definitely doesn’t want Lillain to so he is a coward as well. But, Xavier does redeem himself although, he still can be hot one minute and cold the next and thank goodness Lillian is back to calling Xavier’s name instead of just X. I will have to admit he wasn’t worthy of his full name either. Then something terrible happens and no I can’t say what. But, trust me it is terrible. And, Xavier won’t let go! Was that a tease enough for you to want to read this book and series?
Oh and I can’t believe how much work must have been put in on researching all the songs for the texting that Xavier was doing. I did ask the author about that and she actually said she didn’t have to work too hard because it was music she has listened to for years and also friends would send her music as well. Another real HOT & sexy book! Oh and this book did not end on a mind blowing cliffhanger. It left off with knowing there would be more story to tell and there is! Here I come X~TREME Lies! This book was not an ARC and I give X~Treme Confusion Part 3 4.5 stars. |

So I am again going to review this book in a little different way. These were my notes while reading X~Treme Lies:
* Wow this book pretty much starts out HOT! Of course Xavier is a dirty boy.
* Xavier finally opens up to Lillian. “X” really has to work hard to overcome Lillian’s anger and every time Lilly is mad at Xavier all of a sudden his name is “X” uh oh!
* Lillian really does have a forgiving heart/soul!
* I do love that the only way Xavier seems to be able to apologize is by using sex.
* It seems like he is unable to do anything without sex. Isn’t that a sex addict? Anyway, Lillian does seem to love it so, all is good. 😉
* Xavier/Anthony or whoever the hell he is?
* “X” is a controlling a##hole! He even admits it.
* I think that this book is the best of this whole series! For one thing so much is explained! Definitely 5 stars. Each book has gotten better!
***Okay that is it for my notes. I truly did enjoy this series, even the cliffhangers. 😉 as long as there is another book ready to be read!
I received this gift of X~Treme Lies for an honest review and even though I was gifted with the book I BOUGHT this book. 1. Because it makes it a verified purchase and… 2. Because I really did love this book! This one was my favorite of the whole series.
Do yourself a favor though you need to start at Part One of the X~Treme series so you will understand all that happens. Because a lot does happen!
