As is her style, Lainie Suzanne has spun a tale of intrigue, sexual desire and realism combining to capture the attention of the reader. We’ve all dreamt of undying love and Blood Moon offers this to us through the fantasy of falling in love with a vampire. As stated in the last line of the book, a quote from Emily Dickinson

“Unable are the Loved to die, for Love is Immortality.”

As have many, I’ve seen all of the vampire films, but I’m not what you would call a fan of the paranormal genre. Blood Moon is more than a vampire story, it’s a love story that kept me on the edge. While yes, it’s a Novella, a quick read; it kept me reading not wanting to put the book down. I was captivated by the chemistry between Melania and Marco and at the books end I only wanted more.

If you are looking for a tale of sensual fantasy this book will fill your need. But I warn you, the bite of the vampire is intoxicating and will leave you panting and breathless, needing… One. More. Page.

I rate Blood Moon 5 Stars and hope to read more in the storyline.
