Where to start with this review. This is my first book from Kim Karr so I did not know what to expect. I read this book in one day! With this said let’s get to my review.

This book is about Elle and Logan. Elle is taking care of her niece because her sister is no where to be found. There are dangerous people linking for the sister and the husband is trying to find her and a solution to the dilemma she’s left everyone in. Logan keeps women at a distance due to tragedy in his past. Not allowed to be seen with someone of the opposite sex in Boston, he has no choice but to be careful. The two has an attraction that they just can’t seem to ignore. So many times in the book I’m left screaming to hook up and get it over with. While I understand why, I just say suck it up and deal with the consequences. As the story good on we start to wonder who’s being honest and who’s playing who. Who can be trusted and who’s stabbing someone they live in the back. Pieces start to fall in place and no one is who they seem.. By the end of the book your left with your jaw on the floor screaming WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!! If you don’t like cliffhangers you may want to wait till book two is close to being released. I truly enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Kim Karr is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author.

She grew up in Rochester, NY and now lives in Florida with her husband and four kids. She’s always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, she wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. She went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise her family. Kim currently works part-time with her husband and recently decided to embrace one of her biggest passions–writing.

Kim wears a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer-mom, taxi driver, and the all around go-to person of her family. However, she always finds time to read. One of her favorite family outings was taking her kids when they were little to the bookstore or the library. Today, Kim’s oldest child is seventeen and no longer goes with her on these, now rare and infrequent, outings. She finds that she doesn’t need to go on them anymore because she has the greatest device ever invented–a Kindle.

Kim likes to believe in soul mates, kindred spirits, true friends, and Happily-Ever-Afters. She loves to drink champagne, listen to music, and hopes to always stay young at heart.
