Shannon P’s Review: 4.0 Stars
This is the first book I have read by author, Amelie S. Duncan, and it won’t be the last. It took me a few chapters to really sink my teeth in, but after that I couldn’t wait to see where the relationship between Lily and Jonas was going to go. I also liked how she conveyed the lasting effects domestic violence can have on a person even when they are in a different relationship.
I found myself really relating to Lily and her body issues. Due to her ex fiancé, Declan, constantly putting her down throughout their relationship, she can’t see how beautiful she is as a curvy woman. And unfortunately there are times when words can be so much more harmful than any fist could ever be. Jonas tries to convey how much he desires her, but he finds that it can be quite challenging at times. I hope to learn more about Jonas in the second book coming out soon. And Dani? She’s Jonas’ ex-wife and I’m sure there are plenty of people out there wishing they had an ex like her [which was actually very refreshing].
I would give 4 stars to Tiger Lily #1 and I am really looking forward to more from this author.

This is the second book in this series and picks up right where the first one left off. I am really enjoying Amelie S. Duncan’s writing style, and the direction she is taking the characters. She definitely took me on more of an emotional roller coaster this time around.
I have to admit that I was frustrated with the main character, Lily at times, but given the circumstances it was understandable. I’m hoping she becomes a stronger woman in the next book. Jonas is as swoon-worthy as he was in the first book if not more so. I still need more of him though. As far as some of the other characters, Melissa and Natasha? I would have liked to have reached through my Kindle and smacked both of them. And Declan, her ex? Oh, there’s a special place just for guys like him and it gets really, really hot there. I hope he gets what he deserves and soon. Paul, Jonas’ son, literally had me chuckling out loud. I would love to hear more about him once he’s a little older. You know, when he’s of legal age to drool over.
I give 4 stars to Tiger Lily part 2 and I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

I would like to thank Amelie Duncan for the opportunity to read Tiger Lily part 3. I have loved this series from the very beginning and she does not disappoint with this book either as it’s the continuation of Jonas and Lily’s story. I absolutely loved that Lily was a much stronger woman in this installment while Jonas exposed his more vulnerable side. I have found myself completely invested in each character including the supporting ones. I would love to read more about Paul (Jonas’s son) after he has aged some. Although he has given us a glimpse as to what a teenaged Jonas may have been like. I also really enjoyed the teasing of a story between Mary and Ian.
I give 4 stars to Tiger Lily part #3 and can’t wait to see what Amelie Duncan comes up with next.
