Tiger Lily is the first book in a trilogy by Amelie S. Duncan. She introduces us to Lily, a beautiful young lady who is learning her way in the world. Plagued by insecurities, recovering from a broken engagement while coming to terms with the death of her parents, we meet her at her most vulnerable point. Curvaceous, witty and wounded, I fell for her instantly, as did Jonas. He is a hardened business mogul who wants all of the benefits of a relationship without having to deal with any of the complications emotions bring to the table.
The storytelling is first rate but I also enjoyed the way both the main and supporting characters are given true depth. I was left feeling as if I knew a good deal about everybody but still wanted to know more. The plot twists were well conceived and I could not wait to get my hands on the second book. The Devil rates this book worthy of 4 pitchforks.

In the second book of the Tiger Lily trilogy Amelie S Duncan made me even more enamored of Lily, her heroine. She also made me weary of her fondness of diabolical cliffhangers. I can forgive those as long as she continues to tell such a captivating story.
Lily is now fighting her feelings for Jonas, fighting her own insecurities, and simply fighting Declan, her ex fiancee. Her health, both mental and physical, are in jeopardy along with every other aspect of her carefully constructed life.
This story is so well written that I caught myself being conflicted between wanting to go beat up someone for Lily and simply wanting to wrap her up in my arms. The end result is that I am so eager to read the third book but yet hate thinking my relationship with Lily is coming to an end. I realize this is a trilogy but I can hold out hope for a spin off. The Devil rates this book worthy of 4 pitchforks.

Amelia S. Duncan has accomplished something very few starting authors manage, getting me to read all 3 books of her first series.
In Tiger Lily Part 3, the title is one of the only things I did not care for, she advances the story of Jonas and Lily. From the first book she has kept me interested with her adept storytelling, even more pleasing is how improved her character development has become over time.
Lily has always been insecure and prone to self analysis, her self depreciation is just the right amount to garner our empathy and help us fall in love with her. Jonas, the business mogul, on the other hand is finally opening up and allowing some of his more personable traits to be seen. This along with a slightly more detailed introduction to the BFF Mary as well as some real resolutions to the issues with both Declan and Melissa make this book the true gem of the series. Add to this the scorching hot love scenes that Amelie writes so expertly and The Devil gives this book 4 pitchforks.
