Can an angel with blood-covered wings and the devil himself resist temptation or will they risk bringing hellfire down on everything that they love?
I received a complimentary copy of Heaven Sent in exchange for an honest review.
From the start of this book – I was intrigued – I LOVE me a good MC book and this one hit the mark!
Dani Espinoza is on the run – she jumps on the first bus she can find, it happens to be to a small town in California. During her bus ride, she locks in a place to live and a ride from the bus station by her new roommate. Throughout the entire book your curiosity is peaked – Why is Dani on the run? What did she do? Answers! You need answers and it makes you flip those pages (or swipe in my case) even faster.
During a night out with her roommate she “meets” Hero – I say “meets” because they really don’t meet – they dance together and then her roommate Ricca pukes everywhere – pulling her away from Hero. Both Hero and Dani feel the connection, but neither even knows each other’s name. After an almost kidnapping by a rival MC, Dani ends up at Heaven’s Rejects and you’ll never guess who the VP is? HERO! They both honestly fight the attraction – he thinks she could be a spy from the rival MC. After finding out the truth – Dani and Hero pursue a “relationship”, remember this is a MC book so nothing is as it seems ever – come on, you know what I mean – love and sex. Oh and the sex is super HOT!
Dani’s truths do eventually come out and you find out exactly why she is on the run – but not before a scare that will make you cringe. A few times, I felt like I needed a cigarette and I don’t smoke! This is not only a love story but also a suspense! You won’t want to put this book down until all your questions have been answered – Luckily every single question is answered and you finish the book completely satisfied.
Great job, Avelyn Paige!! Thank you for the opportunity to meet both Dani and Hero!
4 Stars!

The book starts with Dani on the run. We don’t know who or what she’s running from. Something happened that had her running. She meets Ricca upon arriving to the new city. They become roommates and Ricca helps her finds a job at a bar. Here Dani meets a man that her body responds to. Without seeing his face she feels an instant attraction. But unfortunately he leaves before she can see who he is.
Hero is part of Heaven’s Reject biker Club. Second in command, Hero can have anything and any girl he wants. Heaven’s Reject take care of those they care about while offering security to those who needs it. A night at a bar where he meets a woman who rocks him to the core. Suddenly Heaven’s rivals, Twisted Ties, goes after the club and starts a war.
Dani thinks life is okay until her roommate disappears and she’s being kidnapped by people she doesn’t know. Able to escape she flees to an abandon building and wait until she can safely go home. Mistaken for an enemy, Dani is taken to Heaven’s Reject and she comes face to face with the man that made her body react.
With craziness around them, Hero and Dani are thrusted together and not know if they can trust each other. Dani has a secret that she’s afraid to tell. Little by little the walls start to come down and the two starts to trust each other. Just when things are good, Dani’s past comes and rocks everyone.
I truly enjoyed this book. I love the way the characters held my attention. I did not want to put the book down. Although the book reminded me too much like SoA I still enjoyed it. I would recommend this book to any MC lover.

Never intending to ever write her own book, the idea behind the Damaged series came to her on a drive to work early one morning thinking about her father who’d recently passed away. His strength during his cancer and rare blood disease battle inspired Avelyn to do something she’s never thought about before. She’s excited to see where this wild ride takes her.
