Review by Shannon P:
Dare to Seduce is the 8th book in the Dare to Love series by Carly Phillips. I agree that it can be read as a standalone since I hadn’t read any of the other books before this one. However, I think it would be more beneficial to read the full series in order to get the full impact of all the characters. There is such a great family dynamic written clearly throughout the book, and I would have loved to have fully explored that prior to reading book 8 in the series.
The relationship of Lucy and Max is one that started years before we are introduced to them in Dare to Seduce, but that doesn’t stop Carly Phillips from drawing the reader in right from the first chapter. Their chemistry is off the charts, but it was their vulnerability that drew me in the most.
I give Dare to Seduce 3.5 stars.
