..
The explosive
conclusion to the Vagabonds trilogy!
After playing
second fiddle in the all-girl rock band the Vagabonds, lead guitarist Kyle
Summers decides to break out on her own and puts together a band that helps her
shine as a solo act.
But the road is
uphill and success seems elusive. She begins to question herself and her
talent, wondering if she should sell out to win the adoration of her old fans
or stubbornly follow her heart and continue to languish in relative obscurity.
On-again,
off-again love interest CJ Slavin helps Kyle get her new band off the ground
but refuses to commit to their relationship, once more leaving Kyle feeling
alone, unloved, and unimportant, and those emotions lead her to do rash,
irrevocable things on the road, things that could drive CJ away for good. Will
they finally admit their feelings to one another and forsake all others or
split for good, and will Kyle finally find the fame she’s been working her ass
off for or will she leave it all behind, a broken woman?
Find out in the
final tale of the Vagabonds trilogy!

On the Rocks (Vagabonds, #3)On the Rocks by Jade C. Jamison
My rating:
5 of 5 stars

On the Rocks is the last book in the Vagabonds Series and I have to say I really enjoyed this Rocker Chick series.

Kyle really gets into some deep stuff as a rocker chick. And, you will still see drug, alcohol abuse and a lot of sex. There is an HEA at the end and it ended the way that I would have wanted it to. There were a lot of changes with the band and with the girls from the beginning to the end. And, a LOT of issues dealt with. But, Kyle does grow up. Well, all the girls grow up and some move away from the music industry. Again, I can’t say more. No spoilers here.

I was gifted with a copy of this book for an honest review. I give On The Rocks 5 stars.

On the Run (Vagabonds, #1)On the Run by Jade C. Jamison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

On The Run is the first book in the Vagabond Series and I really enjoyed it. I felt that this book was the character building book so that we could look into the lives of the girls in this rocker series with Kyle Summers as the main character. The 5 girls that form the band called Vagabonds are Kyle, Vicki, Kelly, Liz, and Barbie. This story is kind of a coming of age. The girls are around 16-17 years old. In high school and getting ready to tour with their band.

I think this book started off slow but, picked up towards the end and I can’t wait to read On the Road which fortunately is out already for the ones that want to read this series.

And, lastly you really mentioned Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden! I loved & read those books when I was a teenager, Trixie Belden was my favorite.

I was gifted a copy of On the Run for an honest review and I give this book 4 stars. I am really looking forward to starting On the Road which I will do immediately!

On the Road (Vagabonds, #2)On the Road by Jade C. Jamison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vagabond #2 On the Road spans over several years and the band going through troubled times on the road. This is Kyle Summers story and her band The Vagabonds along with 4 other girls Vicki, Kelly, Liz, and Barbie. There of course is a lot of angst among the girls. Times when they got along and of course when they didn’t. If you ask me they are all train wrecks while learning about life and being on the road with little to no supervision.

Warning: There is a lot of drugs, alcohol & sex in this book. It is part of the story and it isn’t being glorified. I just knew this book would be even better and I was right.

On the Road is covers several years but, probably my favorite age for Kyle was when she finally turns 18 and if anyone has read this book you will know what it means, yes C. J. no other words will be said because no spoilers. I loved C. J. but, there were definitely times I wondered!

I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading the last book in this series “On the Rocks” I was gifted a copy of On the Road for an honest review and I give it 5 stars.

 For years, Jade
C. Jamison tried really hard to write what she thought was more
“literary” fiction, but she found herself compelled to write what you
read by her today–sometimes gritty, raw, realistic stories and other times
humorous, light tales–but most of the stories she writes revolve around
relationships and characters finding their way through life. While she doesn’t
confine herself to just one genre, nor is there a nice neat label for what she
writes, most of her work could be called erotic romance. Her main writing
passions include rock star romance, romantic comedy, and romantic suspense.
She lives in Colorado with
her husband and four children.
