I was offered this book as an ARC but, I also noticed it was on Kindle Unlimited and why not let the author get paid for it if they can. At least that was my thought process.

When I first started reading this book I thought uh oh this isn’t the kind of book that I like to read and I might have made a mistake by saying I would read it. The Other Woman: A Betrayed Wife takes on a Mistress with Scandalous Results: starts off with a woman (Scarlett) who steals her friends husband (Bradley) and she sets up Rival (the wife of Bradley). And, I won’t say more because I don’t do spoilers. But, I want you to know that I was thoroughly engrossed in this book. And, that Scarlett is just plain EVIL! And, too bad the stapler didn’t kill her. Okay again I can’t say more because “no spoilers here”. What I do want to let you know is that Eve Rabi writes so well that I could really feel Rival’s pain. I could also see that Scarlett was a psychopath and that she really feels she is doing something good.
I am so glad that I stuck with this story and I give The Other Woman 5 stars. I am looking forward to reading Derailed the second book in this series. Especially since the ending left with a little cliffhanger not a bad one but, one that you knew the story will continue. I just wish I could start it immediately but, I have other obligations to read first. But, you can bet that Derailed will be read as soon as I can.

Have you ever seen the movie Fatal Attraction? [Who hasn’t, right?] Eve Rabi has written a story that actually gives that movie a run for its money!
Scarlett has set her sights on Bradley, and the fact that he’s married to Rival doesn’t phase her one bit. I have to say that I absolutely hated Scarlett, and it wasn’t just because she was the mistress. She is so…evil. There isn’t anything, and I mean anything, that she won’t do to get what she wants. Rival, on the other hand, I loved her! She was someone that I could relate to, feel empathy for, and cheer for. Bradley, what can I say about him? He was like a fly caught in the web of Scarlett. She played him like a flipping fiddle, and it was very frustrating at times. At times I got very angry at Bradley while other times I would even feel sorry for him…well, just a little bit. I wanted to scream at him to quit thinking with the wrong head!!
Now we all know how the saying goes about Karma, right? Well in this story Karma introduces herself as Rival, and it was fascinating to watch her come around…again and again.
Eve Rabi has written a story that showcased temptation, seduction, adultery, and revenge. There were so many lines crossed in this book that it would at times literally make my stomach hurt. Then Ms. Rabi would soothe that pain with some laughter or some very tender moments.
I give 4 stars to The Other Woman: A Betrayed Wife takes on a Mistress with Scandalous Results and I can’t wait to read the next book!

Rival and Bradley were happy married until Scarlet set her sights on him. Armed with devious plans to take him away, Scarlet successfully succeed and left Rival not knowing up from down. As Rival starts to get better she learns of secrets and played her own game. Bent on getting revenge she starts a game of her own and her family is the prize. Will she strong enough to go against someone as devious as Scarlet or will she learn who’s a better player.
Let me first say this, I did not like Scarlet’s point of view. It was hard for me to into the story. I did not like her throughout the whole book. So with that said I throughly enjoyed this book. I could not stop reading once I accepted my feelings for Scarlet. I felt so much sympathy for Rival and Bradley. As I kept reading I kept rooting for Rival to come out on top. Yet there were times I wanted to shake her and say “look at what’s in front of you!!!” I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t mind infidelity. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens next.
