Synopsis:

Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! What a book! I loved Derailed. This book takes you on some twists and turns. Some I expected and some not!

You absolutely need to start with “The Other Woman: A Betrayed Wife takes on a Mistress with Scandalous Results” Then “Derailed”. And Malice as soon as it is released, hopefully in the near future.

Rival calls Scarlett at the end of this book “Teflon Scarlett” “Because nothing sticks to her” And, Scarlett does seem to get away with everything. I don’t know how she does it.

I loved the scene with Ritchie and Maxine. I guess Ritchie gets to chalk up another date turned wrong.

At one point in the book I questioned. Is Scarlett really capable of love. I know she loves herself and she says she loves Bradley but, does she really love him? Is she capable of doing the thing she does in the book? I can’t do spoilers so I can’t tell you what happens and if you are just curious enough you should read this series!

Fortunately, Derailed does end in an HEA, well sort of an HEA. It looks like there is going to be another book soonish. At the end of Derailed there was an Excerpt from Malice and it is supposed to be out in December 2016 but, it is the end of December and I don’t see it out yet. But, you can bet I will be getting Malice because who can have enough of “Teflon Scarlett”. I am anxious to see what she does next. After all she is the woman you love to hate.

Review of Derailed by Eve Rabi

This is the second book in the Other Woman series by Eve Rabi, and it’s a continuation of story of Rival, Ritchie, Bradley and Scarlett. If you thought Scarlett was evil in the first book like I did, hold on to your britches cause this chick takes things to an even more sinister level. Bradley is a bigger jerk than ever before. So why read this book? It’s simple. Rival and Ritchie. They have fallen in love and are happy. Well at least for a little bit. No one in Scarlett’s atmosphere is allowed to be happy if she’s not happy, much less her archenemy. Will Bradley and Scarlett get a good ole dose of karma? Will Ritchie and Rival find their happy ending?

I enjoyed the writing of Derailed. I found myself drawn into the storyline, anxious and excited to see what was going to happen next. Just when I thought one thing was going to happen, Eve Rabi would through me a curveball. I give Derailed 4.5 stars.
