Redeeming Rhys by Mary Palmerin is a dark and twisted mind F**k. I have to be very clear that this book is not for everyone and the content touches on many things that may make people very uncomfortable but keep an open mind. I was first introduced to this author when I reviewed The Goodbye Man and recently met her in Greenville at a book signing. She had told me about this book but I could have not been prepared for this book. I like reading dark and twisted and looked forward to this book. I have to say that I love the writing style of this author. Yes the content was something else but the story was written in such a way that I could get enough of this story. This is the story of Rhy a young man who endured years of abuse and after the death of his parents his mind was never the same. He however felt that if he could get her forgiveness than he may be made whole. There were so many twist and turns in this book that it will blow your mind. I can say this was the best book I have read this year. I cannot say enough about this book. I was given an ARC of this book for an honest review. This story was 5 stars to the 10th power. If you love dark and twisted than this a must read.

Wow what a book, what an ending! If you want to read a VERY DARK, TWISTED and DISTURBING book then Redeeming Rhys is for you. Please, Please, Please read the WARNING! Mary Palmerin isn’t kidding. I actually think there should be an even stronger warning about this book. This book is not for the faint of heart nor a novice reader of dark stories. I thought I had read a lot of DARK stories. Well I think this one may beat them all.

This book had my attention at the first page all the way to the end. And, it has a doozy of a cliffhanger! I am not sure Rhys has any “Redeeming” qualities. He is one sick and very twisted individual. Maybe I am a sick and twisted individual to have liked this book. Although, it was bordering on being too dark for me. Mary E. Palmerin I hope you won’t make us wait too long to see what happens next. I received a complimentary copy of Redeeming Rhys for an honest review and I give it 5 stars!
