Kierra experienced so many things that night, feeling free of her abusive stepfather, sneaking out for the first time, her first kiss, and losing everyone she loved in a horrible explosion. It’s no surprise to say that that night changed her.
Now ten years later, Kierra is back in town and Bryan [her first kiss] is the sheriff. She is convinced that her stepfather set the fire that killed her family, but there’s no evidence of that. Can Kierra convince Bryan to help her get the justice she deserves? Will her need for the truth draw the evil out from hiding? Is it really hiding if they’ve been in plain sight the whole time?
I enjoyed this book; it had drama, suspense, a swoon worthy sheriff. What more do you need? I loved how patient and tender Bryan was with Kierra. No matter what she did to conceal herself, he always saw her beauty and strength. I give Hiding in Plain Sight 3.5 stars.
