Theresa M’s Review: 4 STARS
Forever More is the continuation of More. Isabel Fields is married, has a good marketing job, and a supportive best friend. Her husband, Phil isn’t the most adventurous in the bedroom, and Isabel craves much more than the one-sided lovemaking she puts up with. She tries to explain her desires to Phil, but he has no intention of getting into that kinky stuff with Isabella.
After feeling let down once again by Phil, Isabel stops by a bar and starts up a conversation with very handsome and sexy Dom Sebastian York. Over time, Isabel and Sebastian strike up a friendship, and Isabel explains how unsatisfied she is with the sexual aspects of her marriage. Sebastian, seeing the submissive in Isabel offers to introduce her to the ins and outs of BDSM. Sebastian’s intent was to give Isabel a few tips she can take home to her husband, but something about Izzy intrigues him, and as he gets to know her something more is developing between them.
As feelings are getting stronger between them, Isabel still can’t find it in her to leave Phil, who she knows is cheating on her. Having had enough of their sneaking around, Sebastian says he deserves more from Isabel than their stolen moments. He tells her unless she leaves Phil, they’re done.
After some soul searching, Isabel finally decides to divorce Phil. Even though he’s a cheating slug, Phil isn’t quite ready to end his marriage. In the meantime, Isabel and Sebastian try to work on their relationship. Because of Isabel’s insecurities, their being together isn’t all sunshine and roses. They have to work at getting to know each other outside of their D/s affair. Isabel truly wants to submit to Sebastian, but she’s afraid she’ll lose herself like she did with Phil, and she’s having none of that.
With Sebastian, Isabel is able to gain some confidence in her sexual self. But, a full-time relationship is new for Sebastian, as well, and some of his desires aren’t sitting too well with Isabel. They both realize that communication and trust is very important if they’re going to be together.
Sometimes, Isabel exasperated me, but coming from all the stuff she went through with Phil, you can certainly empathize with her. I liked the way the story ended. It was tough, sweet, and submissive.
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars.
