Synopsis:
U.S. Marine, Major Sawyer Steele, needs control. Everything in order, categorized, organized. It’s not just a preference. It’s a necessity.
Violet is the opposite of all things measured and meticulous. She craves creativity and individuality.
Major doesn’t believe he is worthy of a second chance at love, but when Violet crashes into his life, he finds himself falling for the clumsy, sassy, intelligent beauty.
When she walks away as suddenly as she arrived, he takes it as a sign to just let her go, so he does. No questions, no calls, no texts. And he regrets it. A lot.
Violet has a theory about relationships. She’s a jerk magnet. It’s a fact that has been proven over and over again. She’d given up on love until fate kept bringing her face to face with a certain sexy, controlling Marine.
He’s stunning and bossy and difficult to love, but Violet has never been drawn to perfection. She enjoys a challenge, and Major is the ultimate challenge.
After a weekend with Major, she starts to think that maybe this time is different. Maybe this man is different. One day later, she changes her mind.
Two months after walking out on Major Steele, Violet thinks she’s met the perfect man. But the news he has for her is not what she was ‘expecting’.
Now Violet is faced with the impossible task of telling Major Steele that their short weekend together is about to get really messy, and Major doesn’t do messy.

Emerson Rose I love your books! Major’s Baby is Major Sawyer Steele and Violet Washington’s story.
Violet literally runs into Major Sawyer Steele at the Target Dept. Store. The Major has OCD and finds his nice orderly world tilted on its axis after he meets Violet. Do read the synopsis that Emerson Rose has provided because I couldn’t word the blurb better. Violet and the major fall in love almost at first sight! I do believe in love at first sight because it happened to my hubby and myself and we have now been married almost 39 years. I did get my HEA in Majors Baby! Each of these books written by Emerson Rose King’s Baby, Playboy’s Baby and now Major’s Baby can be read as a standalone.
This is the 3rd book that I have read by Emerson Rose and I LOVE all the books! I have read other books by this author with another pen name. I have to say that this authors books whichever name she is writing under I LOVE.
I received a complimentary copy of Major’s Baby for an honest review but, I will be buying this book as well because this book and author deserve a verified copy.

Violet is a free spirit who loves to express herself. She runs [literally] into US Marine Major Sawyer Steele. He is as regimented in his daily life as you would expect a career military man to be. Now throw in some baggage from his past, a serious case of OCD, and a big shake up from Mother Nature herself and you have a one heck of a story.
I loved the chemistry and banter between these characters. The story takes the reader on a journey through their whirlwind romance. Do you believe in love at first sight? Can a relationship that starts off as a one-night stand really turn into a never-ending love story?
I give Major’s Baby 4.5 stars.

Lisa G’s Review: 5 STARS
This is my favorite Book written by Emerson Rose – I absolutely loved Major’s Baby! Major Sawyer Steele – even his name is freakin’ hawt! Major is in the Marines – who doesn’t LOVE a man in uniform? I know my heart always fluttered when my hubby wore his Army uniform. Major NEEDS to be organized, very much so – he is extremely anal – everything has a “home” and it belongs in its place. Now, throw in a lady that isn’t quite so organized – she runs into him, literally, in Target – her basket empties – when it’s returned all of the contents have been organized. Weird, for a stranger to organize someone else’s basket – not for Major Hawtie-pants it isn’t. 🙂 After their run in, in Target – they both go their separate ways – will they meet again? Will they find love within each other? DUH, of course they will – this is a romance story people!
Violet – oh my love for her – she is so accepting yet, so sassy in her responses, I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I giggled out loud. Violet’s dad was also in the Marines; as is her brother – so she is prepared for Major – just not his “odd” ways. As the story progresses you have twists and turns that make your mind boggle. The things we learn and Major – we begin to see why he is not only an organized freak but also so controlling about EVERYTHING in his life. My eyes may have leaked a few times – but worth every moment of this story line. It’s a page turner for sure!!
This is a MUST read! Great job, Emerson!!

I spend my weekdays carpooling, writing romance and doing all of the things that single mom’s do.
