The Season: Rush by Nicole Edwards

I loved seeing my name listed on my ARC copy! Rush is a Standalone book within the series.
This is a sports romance and not my usual type of book. I avoid all things sports. But, when you put Nicole Edwards and sports romance together. I am there 100% to read this book. I mean this is NICOLE EDWARD’s book and I read all books by her!
And, I thought Rush was going to be a tamer book than what Nicole usually writes. Well I was wrong. This book has that hotness factor that Nicole Edwards does know how to write.
This is Kingston Rush (aka Mount Rushmore according to his fans & “Goalie God” according to Ellie) & Ellie’s story. I will leave it up to Nicole Edwards to provide you with the synopsis since I feel the authors do a much better job at that than I do. But, here is a little peak for you.
“And here I thought they called him Mount Rushmore because he’s like a mountain guarding the goal. Perhaps, they call him that because he’s so freaking huge….”
I am hoping the next book in this series will be Spencer’s story! I loved this story and yes I still loved it even though it was a sport’s romance. Who knows I may have to go and check out a hockey game after reading this book.
I received a complimentary copy of Rush for an honest review. But, I also bought the book so I would have a verified purchase.
Admittedly, I couldn’t let go of some of my key players, no matter how much of a disgrace they’ve been to the team. But I’ve got my eye on one of them in particular right now. Kingston Rush, a.k.a. Mount Rushmore.
Here’s a guy who was the league’s top goalie two years ago, with three Vezina Trophies under his belt. Quite frankly, he’s a beast and a huge asset to this team—when he’s on his game, that is—so I’m hoping a little extra attention might go a long way.
