Synopsis:

Only this time, it’s for the better. Or so he tries to convince her.

For 2 years we have heard about Sinclair Stone, the younger brother to the King of the Gargoyle and I for one have been anxiously awaiting his story. Let me just say that is was well worth the wait!
Sin, as he is called by family and friends, lives up to his name. He is a very private, somewhat mysterious male and he absolutely oozes sex appeal with every turn of the page.
Throughout his life, Sin has always been a lover of women. And even though he had been married to a couple of human wives, he never found his mate. Once his brother, the King, and other members of the Stone Society clan began to find their mates, he feared he would live out his life alone.
Down on her luck and having lived a less than stellar existence, Raquel “Rocky” Cartwright has decided she will never be more than a toy to men. She deems herself damaged and sees her future being alone, her only love coming from her best friend.
Over the course of a few days, Sin begins to realize that he has been in the company of his mate. The problem is, he does not know who it is. Each time he has exhibited the same signs his brothers had spoken of he was around the same person. A dude! While he is not against male/male mates, he always assumed his mate would be a woman. When a business opportunity comes up, Sin is brought face to face with his true mate. The person he is fated to be with for eternity. Now all he has to do is convince his mate of this so they can live a long happy life together… yeah, easier said than done!
Ok, here’s the deal… Sin is a fantastic read. Faith Gibson, as usual, has incorporated an exciting story replete with secrets, heroes and villains, adventure and hot sex. However, in this book the sex is taken to the next level. We are gifted with a variety of kink in Sin and OMG it is hot. So, with all of that said, the real meat of the story lies in the history of the characters. Rocky’s past is not simply a troubled childhood; at times it is heartbreaking. For some with abuse triggers, the storyline may be a bit hard to read at times, but I assure you, as with all of the Stone Society books, there is an HEA. You will fall in love with Sin and Rocky just as I Have.
For us hardcore Stone Society fans, Faith has yet again managed to tease us with visions of books to come and I must say I am quite enjoying this prolonged foreplay. With each new little tidbit I read about Uri or Julian, I would want to email Faith Gibson and beg her for more. I continue to be highly impressed with Faith’s ability to not only tell a complete story, from beginning to end, but she also weaves in the start of books to come. She sets up the scene making the reader want more the minute we get to the end.
To sum it up, I FLOVE Sin and I might even go so far as to say he has tied Frey for the title of sexiest Goyle and his story has tied Jasper for best book. Even if you are not a “fan of paranormal” I would still highly recommend you read this book. It offers all of the feels and more. I happily rate Sin 5 glorious stars.

I absolutely love Sin he is such a Gargoyle Alpha Hunky Man! Have you ever read a book that you kept getting closer to the end and you just didn’t want the book to end? And, even though I didn’t want this book to end I just had to keep turning pages because I had to find out what was happening. Well that is how I felt about Sin by Faith Gibson.
I think that this whole series is that good and in my opinion everyone should read this series. Even readers that say they don’t like Paranormal love these Gargoyles. Sin is book 8 in the Stone Society Series.
“Sin” is Sinclair Stone’s and Raquel (Rocky) Taryn Cartwright’s story. “Sin” is set in the year 2045. Sin is Rafael’s brother and head of the West Coast Gargoyles that we have heard about in previous books. Rocky has not had an easy life and she has made a few bad choices in life and she takes accountability for her decisions. Rocky doesn’t feel a lot of self-worth and Sin has his job cut out for him to convince her she is worthy.
As I said before I loved “Sin”. I am always on pins and needles waiting for the next book in this series! Julian’s story is next in line in this Gargoyle Series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. But, I always buy Faith’s Books!!! Yes they are that good!

With each book in the Stone Society series, Ms. Gibson surprises me. Sin is the eighth book, and I am just as excited to see what comes next as I was when I read book one. The storyline is fresh and well written. There are some darker aspects in this one, but they allow us an insight into the female lead and what makes her tick. I absolutely adore the loyalty and love shown by not only the main characters, but the supporting ones as well. We are seeing more and more of not only the “brotherhood”, but the “sisterhood” and let’s just say, it’s amazing. These ladies are just as badass in their own rights as the Gargoyles.
I give Sin 4.5 stars.

Sin (Stone Society #8) by Faith Gibson Sinclair is Raphael’s brother and the leader of West Coast Clan. He now gets to see how happy his brother in now that he has a mate and a baby on the way. Sinclair wants a mate of his own and possibly children. He has had human wives but he wants more. When he goes to the gym and gets that sick feeling he has hope he might find his mate. The next couple of times it happens he is always in the present of a male which even though he has partaken in the same sex, he loves the softness of a woman. When he finally does find his true mate he has his work cut off for him. Raquel aka Rocky has had a hard and difficult life since the death of her parents. She has been abused, broken and beaten. She is closed off and considers herself damaged. She believes no one will ever love her. This was a very emotional story. Be warned but a love story with a HEA. Along with Sin and Rocky’s story we still get an update on the bad guys as well as the New Atlanta crew. Once again another story that I really liked and left me wanting the next installment of the Stone Society. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of the book and give this story 4 stars.
