Rescued by Love (The Ryders, #4; Love in Bloom # 42) by Melissa Foster. This book can be read as a standalone. I had not read the previous books prior to reading this book but after finishing this book I look forward to reading about the other Ryder men. Addison is on the island at her best friend /boss’s wedding. She is stuck spending a weekend of with a Jake Ryder brother of the groom. Jake is known as the playboy of the family and anytime Jake and Addison are in the same room the sexual innuendos and tension are always at an all-time high. As long as they have known each other they have played this sexual cat and mouse game. This weekend changes everything between them. Addison and Jake finally give into their sexual desires thinking it will only be one night. The sex between the two of them makes for some sexy, hot good reading. I really like the way the author draws me and has me so invested in the characters. There is more to them than the sex and the journey they took to being more than one night was filled with self-discovery on both their parts. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of the book. I give this story 4 stars
