Friction is the 1^st book I’ve read by Emily Snow. I need to be completely honest – I did NOT want this book to end, I was actually a little sad reading the epilogue. Not because it was sad – but because I wanted Lucy and Jace’s story to continue. From the first chapter, hell the first sentence, I was hooked – I couldn’t put this book down.

Lucy – she’s a prude, marketing agent. She recently moved back to her hometown of Worcester, MA. near Boston, after things went downhill ( to put it mildly) in San Fran. She’s on a hunt for a new job, problem is – her previous employer isn’t giving her rave reviews. She applies for a job from Craigslist, after her mom insists that she bring mace with her to the interview (LOL) – she’s on her way. What she doesn’t expect ( but we do because come on – it’s a romance novel!) is to make eye contact with her high school obsession. Things are never as they seem and Lucy learns this extremely quickly. Jace – wow, he grabs hold of you with his possessiveness and doesn’t let Lucy OR you go!

The humor, the angst, the feelings, the sex – this story – JUST WOW! The humor, quite honestly is what grabbed hold of me.

I am already looking for other books by Ms. Snow to entertain my imagination.
