I love these four friends Lydia, Charlotte, Scarlett and Paige. They have fun together, they support each other and can cry on each others shoulder. Calculated Risk was the first book and was Lydia and Marcus story. You will see them again in Risk and Reward. But, this book is Charlotte’s story. Charlotte and Nate were growing apart. He was working long hours and always away from home. Charlotte didn’t want to live that way any longer. The story goes on from there. I don’t want to say anything more because I don’t want to give you any spoilers.

This book is suspense filled. I wasn’t sucked in at the very beginning but, let me tell you this story had me until the end! I read this book in an afternoon and I couldn’t put Risk and Reward down!

I love Risk and Reward and so far I think I love Charlotte & Nate’s story best. I can’t wait to read Paige’s story which is next and if I read the signs correctly it will be Sean’s story too! Looks like my wait won’t be to terribly long their story will be here this summer.

It’s easy to recognize the bad when you’re in the moment. All the good is erased and you’re blinded by the negative. Each fight, every moment of hurt starts as a small scab. With initial plans to work in politics, she moved to Washington, D.C. and worked on Capitol Hill for a House Representative.
