Pernicious is book 5 in The Nexus Series and for me it has been long awaited! We have waited a whole 16 months since the last book “Wicked” came out! Well I am here to say it was worth the wait! I loved reading Pernicious!
Lainie Suzanne packs a lot in with this Sexy and Fast book to read. We got to read about more of the characters from Nexus. And, just in case you haven’t read any of these other books in the series yet.
0.5 Fate – Fate is the prequel to NEXUS. It’s the story of Isaac’s journey and how NEXUS came to be.
1. Nexus – Kathy & Isaac (owner of Nexus)
2. Soleil – Debra & Derek & Patrick
3. Deceit – Gina & Leo
4. Wicked – Charlotte & Edward
5. Pernicious – is a little about everyone and a new character introduced – Chris Christiansen.
These books all center around Club Nexus (BDSM club) and the members of the club. There is a subplot of Human Trafficking in which Lainie Suzanne does a great job with the suspense part of the book. There is also information about Human Trafficking at the end of the book in the Appendix.
Plan on buying all the books in the Nexus Series because you are going to want to read them all. And, for now I can’t wait for book 6 to come out!
Buy the book!!!

About the Author
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I currently live in North Carolina with my husband, my best friend, the love of my life.
I love reading Erotic Romance, but often found myself unable to relate to the characters. I wanted to read about a heroine I could relate to and thought other women would too. The heroine in Nexus, Katherine, is in her mid-forties, divorced, curvaceous, insecure, sassy, and feels self-conscious about her body. Things many women can relate to. I like to say I write Realistic Erotic Romance.
I’ve always had a love affair with vampires, so I decided to merge eroticism and vampirism and my novella, Blood Moon was born.
I never thought of myself as a writer, and honestly I still don’t. I have stories and characters in my head that I want to know more about and see what kind of wicked kinkery they can get into along the way. My characters are part of me and I love sharing their stories with you.
