Sucker Punch by Ashleigh Giannoccaro  Once childhood sweethearts, now Chad a once rising boxer is trying to get his life together. He has lost everything. His boxing career is in the toilet. He is working at his pop’s gym which he hates. He is living in a crappy apartment and to boot the love of his life is now engaged to someone not him. Never knowing why things feel apart the ghost of broken love haunts him. Lotus aka Lola is engaged to a man her parents approve of. She isn’t quite sure if she even said yes. She has never forgot or gotten over her only love Chad. When circumstances throw Chad and Lola back together each remember how much they loved each other. However time, circumstances and outside forces have a way of getting in the way of true love. A very entertaining story. I have read many of this author’s books. She is a true storyteller. Her stories are all different but good. They pull you in and truly entertain you. A page turner with quite a few twist and turns with plenty of secrets. A 4.5 star read.
