Filthy Fight (Hard and Dirty series,#1) by Alta Hensley. Julep Foley is half owner of Shamrock boxing club with her brother after their father died. Under their father’s reign the club was infamous for producing quality boxers. The club had quite the rep. Not as successful, their prize fighter decides to go to another gym and Julep will not let her father’s legacy die. Mateo was an up and coming boxer. When drugs, alcohol and gambling came into his life one mistake took his career away. Julep believes in Mateo’s abilities as a boxer and even understands what happened to him. Giving him another chance Julep is banking on him bringing life back to the gym. What she didn’t bank on was how strong the sexual tension and feelings would be between the two of them. Not only a story of second chances but redemption with some true hot and dirty kinky sex. A good story line that had me in till Mateo made me made but all is well. He did what he thought was best and when family and love is involved no telling what anyone of us would do. A good start to the series. 4 stars.

Why I didn’t realize that this was a Boxing (Sports Romance) I don’t know. But, Mateo is a disgraced boxer & Julep believes in him. I don’t usually go for sports romances and for some reason I am usually surprised that I really like them.

Filthy Fight is Julep Foley & Mateo Vega’s story. Julep & her brother own Shamrocks gym. Mateo is an ousted boxer. He angry at himself because he threw a fight and now no one wants him and he is down on his luck. He had a good reason to lose the fight though. It doesn’t matter no one wants him to fight now.

Julep and her brother give him a second chance at boxing again.

Julep and Mateo also gets down and dirty in a HOT and Sexy way!

Do you think he will throw another fight or do the right thing? I guess you will just have to read Filthy Fight to find that out.
