Quintus(Immortals of New Orleans book 9) by Kym Grosso. I need to start this review with the fact that I have not read any of the previous 8 books. After finishing this book I will be reading the other books. Quintus is ancient powerful vampire who finds himself chained and at deaths door. However a young witch is trying to heal him. Gabriella is a caring witch who found an injured Quintus and decided to help heal him. She is on the run from a particular witch and the coven she once belonged to. They want her dead. They had already killed her mother. Gabriella knows if she can get Quintus to help her she has a chance. Together they go on a search for a powerful high priestess witch who has evil intentions. This was a very interesting story that had me hook, line and sinker. I enjoyed the other mystical characters and their role in the story. I wanted to know more about the characters and what would happen to them. The ending had me salivating and I look forward to the next book. I give this book 4 stars.
