Closer is the fourth book in the Guarding Her Series and is Gio & Whitney’s story. I now know how Closer the title of this book got its name! This is a second chance & friends to lover romance!

I love how each of the books in the Guarding Her Series can be read as a standalone but, it will enhance your reading if you start with the first book and read your way through the series!

Gio & Whitney were best friends until the one night that broke them apart and Whitney left town. Whitney has a secret that is a twist to their story when she returns 8 years later to her home town.

I said earlier that Whitney has a secret only what she thought the secret was, wasn’t what she thought it was.
That is one of the twists in this story that was a surprise for everyone including Whitney. It wasn’t a good surprise either.

Closer was stimulating, surprising, suspenseful, steamy & superb!
