Depravity by Natalie Bennett is a very sick and twisted tale of a young lady who likes to fix things. Her Mother wants her to fight her urges. Mother keeps her in the basement. She is mentally, emotionally and physically abused by mother and her boyfriend. When the boyfriend accidentally kills mother, Helena not only fixes the boyfriend but her mother. Now living with her father she meets Declan and Ethan. They are two sick individuals who have their eye on Helena. She will fit in with what they like to do. While reading this story i realized it was an off shoot of a family from previous books by the author.
However If you find yourself liking this story and if you haven’t read books by this author I suggest you read Mercy, Bound, Released which is Uncle Julian’s story than read Love Obscene and Love Corrupted which is Mason’s story. This is one sick family and even sicker story. Reading this author and loving her stories sometimes makes me question my sanity. 5 sick and twisted stars for me.
