Hook is Book 3 in the Men of Inked: Southside in this Standalone series. And, I can tell you with just the first part of this book will take your emotions through the wringer! I attempted to start reading Hook while at work on one of my breaks. I had to give that up because I could feel the tears building up. I quickly abandon trying to read this book until I got home. Well as it turns out I could read most of Hook on my breaks at work. The beginning and the ending had me crying. I always cry at weddings and funerals. And, that is Angelo Gallo & Tilly Carter’s story.

Thankfully it’s Angelo Gallo’s turn for his story. Angelo has been around in the other books. He is a widower with 2 adorable kids.

Both Angelo and Tilly have experienced a loss of their spouses. Neither felt like they would ever get over their losses until they met each other. Tilly is opening a cupcake shop next door to the Hook & Hustle that Angelo, his brothers & sister own.

I am so in love with all these Gallo’s and can’t wait for the next book! I think on one of these books that Roger (Tilly’s brother-in-law) needs his story too! Roger was such a good support and funny for Tilly. Yep this is another 5 star read! “Loved it”
