Title: Best Man
Series: Billionaire Bachelors #6
Arthur ’Fitz’ Fitzgerald is the hottest, most reckless playboy in town… and my new husband?!
Believe me, I never dreamed that I’d be walking down the aisle to a quickie marriage with a total stranger, but thanks to my eccentric god-mother, an iron-clad will, and a blind, three-legged cat called Alfred (don’t ask), I need to get hitched ASAP. And when the perfect candidate leaves me at the altar, there’s only one person crazy – and drunk – enough to step up at the last minute.
The best man.
Also known as the man most likely to get caught romping with three Rockettes in the back of a Sex and the City tour bus. The man who could melt my panties at twenty paces – and make me want to pour a bucket of ice-water over his head. The man I just pledged to love and honor and… oh god, WHAT HAVE I DONE?!
Our arrangement was clear: keep up the charade long enough for me to claim my inheritance and send my slime-ball cousins packing. Our plan is working perfectly.
Then Fitz decides to change the rules….

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Best Man is the 6th book in the Billionaire Bachelors Series. This is my first book to read by this author. I could have sworn that I have read at least 1 of her books but, nope this is my first.
This is Arthur ‘Fitz’ Fitzwilliam and Rebecca’s ‘Becca’ story.
After Becca is left at the altar (courthouse) the best man comes through. Becca needs to get married to save her and the residents in the apartment from getting evicted. The owner of the building is now deceased and she left the building to Becca & her husband. Only thing is Becca isn’t married. Hence the need to get married.
Fitz is charming, full of one-liners and can be a jerk. Becca is a do-gooder that takes on way more than she should. She can’t stand people suffering. Becca is at a bar drinking her sorrows away after her groom that she has hired from an agency tells her he can’t marry her. Fitz, the best man is at the same bar (BTW he was an acquaintance of said groom they weren’t friends) and he comes to the rescue by saying he will marry her. And, the rest of the story unfolds from here.
Fitz and Becca certainly have chemistry together. I thought this was a cute romantic story and I look forward to reading more books from this author. Best Man can easily be read as a standalone.
