Delivered (The Devil’s Duet Series) by Eva Charles begins the story where Depraved left off. Gabby’s hotel has burned to the ground. She barely made it out of there alive and her best friend is dead. Gabby has nothing left but the clothes on her back. Julian is at wits ends and has to finally let his good friend and the head of his security in on just what they up against. Gabby is having a hard time dealing with everything that has happened to her but once she learns why she was sent away, things change for her and Julian. It definitely was a tough road for them and their relationship. But by the end it was well worth the trip. I like how some discovers were made but was disappointed in how some things ended. I was left with more questions than I started with and I hope they will be answered in the upcoming books even though it will not be Julian and Gabby’s story. Hoping they will make an appearance. I really liked the characters in this series and look forward to reading more about them. 4 stars for me.
