His Salvation (Cavalieri Della Morte series) by Claire Marta is the next book in the series. This book focuses on the assassin Kay,another one of Arthur’s men. On assignment in his native land of Rome he is carrying out a hit when he realizes he has been set up. While on the run he ends up kidnapping Evelyn, a young lady who won a trip to Rome. Kay has all intention of killing her when he makes it back to his room but there is something about her that won’t allow him to carry out the deed. I really enjoyed this story. This by far is my favorite story. It has so many different components that the story kept me interested from the beginning to the end.ย The story had intrigue, suspense, betrayal, lies, secrets, revelations and surprises. I am definitely loving these stories as well as experiencing different author’s storytelling skills. This book was a strong 5 star read. Looking forward to reading other books by this author. Excited about this series and the next book to come.
