Nine by TM Frazier

Nine and Poe meet in a most unconventional way, and that sets the stage for their perfect romance. No, it’s not perfect in the traditional sense with white picket fences and 2.5 kids, it’s perfect in that it’s real and organic. From Their first kiss to the The End, their love was strong.

Growing up in the system and not knowing his brother, Preppy, made life lonely, but the fateful night on the bridge changed it all of Nine, Kevin. That was the night that all of the missing pieces to his puzzle pushed into place.

Poe, aka Leny, was certain her life was over. All that she loved was gone in an instant, but all that changed in nine seconds. Those nine seconds would prove to be the most meaningful in her life.

N9ne was an unexpected surprise. Not because I didn’t expect it to be good, I knew it would be, but because I didn’t have to wait for Nine to get his HEA. I didn’t have a cliffy hangover when I got to the end, but now I can’t wait to see if there is more in the King series or in Nine’s story. Oh and reading Nine made me realize, I never read Preppy’s books (a mistake I will be correcting soon), but I didn’t feel like I was lost or in the dark because I hadn’t. Nine works completely as a standalone, IMO.

As with all of TM Frazier’s books, Nine took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. My heart broke for both Kevin and Leny and their stories, but in the end was mended by the strength of their love. I rate Nine 5 stars!

Nine: The Tale of Kevin Clearwater by T.M. Frazier. I just finished this story and I am happy. I didn’t realize how much I loved each of the characters and their stories. To really appreciate this book in all it is, you have to read the previous books which are really good and will also introduce the other characters. In the beginning of this book we get a little back story about Kevin. We learn some of his demons and how he ended up in Logan’s Beach. More importantly we meet a girl that has quite the impact on his life. I truly enjoyed Kevin’s story. Lenny has had a hard life and when her boyfriend leaves her holding the bag Kevin aka Nine is the only one who can save her. Their journey was quite a hot mess which Lenny is in spades. Loved what they were and became to each other. The conclusion of their story with it’s twist, turns, secrets and deceit was quite juicy. A real shocker. In true TM fashion Preppy stole the show. I can’t get enough of him, Nine, Bear and King. Oh watch out for Bo. He definitely stole the show. Like father like son. Smiles and laughs all around! Can’t wait for his story! 4.5 stars for me.
