Dare: A Rock Star Hero by S.L. Scott. Robert Dare Marquis lives by his own rules and on his own terms. His band is everything to him. He lives for playing his guitar and singing with the hopes his band would one day get a record deal. Until she walked into the bar and turned his world upside. Weatherly had just walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her for the last time. She didn’t love him; she was just expected to marry him. Enough was enough! She could careless about him and his cheating. In fact she was sick of the whole pretentious lifestyle of the rich and snobby. In a bar on the wrong side of town she has an instant connection to a real bad boy. He is dark,handsome, oozes sex and is playing in a band. Her feelings are strong for him as well as Dare for her. The problem is they are from two different worlds. He is from the wrong side of Austin. A good story of two people who end of saving each other. There is a twist to the story that put a smile on my face. Dare and Weatherly’s relationship was something most people would kill for. They bought out the best in each other and showed that love will prevail. So much more to this story. I am so hoping that there will be more books with the other bandmates. 4.5 star read for me
