Covetous by Natalie Bennett. Willow lived in a household with a mother who was uncaring, a sexually abusive stepfather and a drug addicted sister. When her parents went missing and her sister was killed she was taken by someone who said he was her dad. Now living in a criminal family Willow is exposed to a life that can only bring trouble. When she meets her father’s business associate Pierce, Willow has a thing for him. Willow ends up putting herself in a situation that has far reaching ramifications. This was a story of twists and turns, lies and secrets. And of course there was a good serving of dark, sick and twisted in this story. Pierce was the ultimate alpha gangster that had Willow craving his brutal treatment. A good story that kept me guessing. I would love to have another book with more of Pierce and Willow. 4.5 stars for me.
