My hand settles on his chest, and his heart beats a rowdy song beneath my palm. “I’m very confused right now,” I confess, and it’s as honest as I have ever been with him or me. “And my head is spinning.”

His hand covers my hand on his chest. “Then let me take care of you. Let me take you home.”

There is a library filled with books the size of all the reasons I should say no, but even as I have that thought, he says, “Don’t say no.”

A Wicked Song is the 2nd book in the Brilliance Trilogy. I love that Lisa Renee Jones puts in a recap at the beginning of each of her books. It helps to remind you of what happened prior to starting the next book in the series. So thank you for that!

This is a continuation of Kace August and Aria Alard’s (aka Aria Stradivari) story. Their story continues where A Reckless Notes leaves off. Kace & Aria’s chemistry continues to be off the charts, hot.

Also, if you have read any of LRJ’s other books you will know about the Walker Security’s hot team & some of the team show up in this series. I love when there are crossovers from other series.

I knew there was no way out of the 2nd book having a cliffhanger when I started this book and of course I was right. Now I can’t wait for A Sinful Encore! Coming in September. So at least the wait isn’t too long from now!
