At Her Service is the 2nd book in the Mistresses of the Board Room Series. I wasnβt aware that this was the second book in a series but this book can be read as a standalone.Β Joey W. Hill is a new to me author.
This is Abigail βAbbyβ Rose and Neil Shepherdβs story. Once I started reading At Her Service it was very difficult to put this book down. I have never read a book that dealt with one of the main characters in a romance who had a severe mental illness. I mean how romantic is that. That said, this author tackled a really tough subject of mental illness with supreme delicacy. Sometimes you donβt get to choose who you love and love chooses you.
I am happy that I have discovered this author. The genre that she writes in is the type that I highly enjoy. Oh, and I donβt usually want to read stories with Dommes. Books with Doms is more my style. But this author has made me want to go back and read more in this series so I will be going back to read the first book At Her Command, in the series Mistresses of the Board Room.
This book was 5+++ Stars and I canβt wait to search out more books written by this author.
