Vacation Wars came about for Tessa and her merry band of friends, Clea and Lois, along with her twin sister, Roxane had a contract with rules and had the list notarized when they were teenagers. One of the rules was that if one of them were still single at the age of thirty they would forfeit, and their friends would find someone for the one that was single. Well Tessaโs number came up since she was the only one still single. This group of friends went to Greece together to reconnect.
I felt sorry for Tessa because you could say the girls her friends and sister turned into mean girls. Well maybe they werenโt that bad.
Greece is where Tessa and her family would visit during the summer months while she was growing up. Tessa ended up talking to Myles, they had childhood crushes on each other.
I enjoyed reading this book. I found myself chuckling and there were LOL moments for sure.
I loved Tessaโs character. She was so awkwardly cute and had a runaway mouth. It took a bit to like her friendโs and sister until you found out what was really going on in the undercurrent. I loved Myles and his best friend Toby. I am hoping that Toby will get a book, maybe with Tessaโs sister. Who knows! Only this author knows what will happen. In the meantime, I am going to give this book 4.5 Stars and as always, I look forward to more of Meghan Quinnโs books. She writes with so much humor. I know I will get a good laugh out of her books!
