Blurb:

Angry.

Wild.

Loose cannon.

As one of college hockeyโ€™s most feared defensemen, Iโ€™ve been told Iโ€™m all those things and more. The ice is the only place where I can take my anger out on other people and get applauded for it.

The rougher I play, the dirtier I am, the more praise I get.

I suppose the same could be said about me in the bedroom.

Iโ€™m not the dude you want your daughter bringing home to meet you. Because your angel? Well, Iโ€™ll make sure her halo is crooked by the time Iโ€™m done with her.

But Iโ€™ve met my match. The one who wonโ€™t be so easy to leave behind.

And the thing with Bria Collins? Sheโ€™s nobodyโ€™s angel.

But just because she doesnโ€™t wear a halo โ€ฆ doesnโ€™t mean she can handle my darkness.

Lita’s Book Review: 5 STARS

Filthy boy ( The Puck Boys of Brook University #3) by Hannah Gray. This series is getting better and better. Yes, this story can be read as a standalone, but reading the 2 previous books makes this story so much better. Brody was in the other 2 books, so I was looking forward to his story. Brody had it really tough growing up. Hockey literally saved his life. As a defensive man on his team, he uses his childhood anger to make him the beast he is on the ice. When he comes across a kindred spirit in Bria, they make a pact. They will do better and rise above their childhood trauma. There is just one problem, the sexual tension that exists between the two of them is a 5 alarm fire. Each feels it, but neither wants to jeopardize the friendship they have built. They both enjoy each others company, but when the tension get to be too much, a line is crossed. The issue will they survive. Each has no use for love. It is an emotion that makes one weak and only causes heartache. Where will they go from here. This is their story of two damaged souls trying to find some happiness. This was one trip I truly enjoyed going on. I was so in love with Brody. He was everything. He deserves every bit of happiness he can get. A 5 star read.

Tanya’s rating: 5 of 5 stars

Filthy Boy is the first book that I have read by this author and the third book in The Puck Boys of Brooks University series. This is Bria Collins and Brody Oโ€™Brienโ€™s story, and it can easily be read as a standalone.

The blurb caught me, and I just had me to read this book!

My heart really goes out to Brody! No wonder he was so messed up. He is very vulnerable and his insecurities show. Bria didnโ€™t have the best of lives growing up either. They were drawn together because each of them has a hurt heart. They became fast friends but their attraction to each other quickly made that friendship messy and they didnโ€™t want that.

I loved reading my first book by Hannah Gray and I know that I will be reading more of her books. I do need to catch up since there are 2 previous books to read. This book tore at my heartstrings. 5 STARS

ย ABOUT HANNAH GRAY

Hannah Gray spends her days in vacationland, living in a small, quaint town on the coast of Maine. She is an avid reader of contemporary romance and is always in competition with herself to read more books every year.

During the day, she loves on her three perfect-to-her daughters and tries to be the best mom she can be. But once she tucks them in at night–okay, scratch that. Once they fall asleep next to her in her bed–because their bedrooms apparently have monsters in them–she dives into her own fantasy world, staying awake well into the late-night hours, typing away stories about her characters. As much as she loves being a wife and mom–and she certainly does love it–reading and writing are her outlet, giving her a place to travel far away while still physically being with her family.

She married her better half in 2013, and he’s been putting up with her craziness every day since. As her anchor, he’s her one constant in this insane, forever-changing world.
