Moments of Madness is book #2 in The Hunters Series. You can read this as a standalone. But a lot happened in book 1 that I wouldn’t want to miss. The only thing is this is a dark romance and has a lot of possible triggers. This time it is Kyson and Kalilah’s story.

I loved reading Moments of Madness! Kyson is a contract killer. Kalilah has run away from a bad marriage. She is just trying to survive while hiding. They meet at a wedding for Kyson’s ex. She had snuck into the wedding to eat some of the food that they have.

I loved Kalilah’s feistiness, she’s a scrapper. This story was so good! I finished reading this book in a morning. I loved Kyson’s story. These books just keep getting better!

Moments of Mayhem is next and will be Kyson’s twin Kenzo’s turn for his story. Here’s hoping it won’t be too long of a wait!

Moments of Madness (The Hunters #2) by T.L. Smith is Kyson’s story. Book 1 Moments of Malevolence does not have to be read in order to read this book. It is a cute and extremely funny story. Also, book 1 allows you to know the players. The story starts with Kyson attending his ex’s wedding and sitting next to this girl in a ill fitting dress with a severe case of potty mouth while drinking from a flask that she pulles out from between her breast. This is the start of a hilarious journey from start to finish between Kyson and Kalilah. I enjoyed this book more than book 1. Didn’t think this book could have been funnier than the first book, but I was so wrong. Regardless of Kyson and his brother’s occupation, which does come in handy, Kyson and his brothers are really good people. Yes, strange and peculiar, but they are very protective of each other and the ones they love. Kalilah was just trying to keep a low profile and keep her secrets, but that is not possible when you cross paths with the Hunter brothers. Kyson is so dreamy and is just as deadly. Not looking for anything, Kalilah with her sass and quick wit has Kyson hooked. I am loving this series and look forward to Kyson’s twin brother’s book, which is next. Kenzo is a few sandwiches short of a picnic basket, and his kink is out there. This story was 4.5 stars for me
