The Echo of Violence: An Underestimated Novel Book 8 by Candice Wright. Jinx is a bad mama-jama. After a terrible accident at 15, she reinvented herself. Once an MC Princess, she is now a bounty hunter with her pseudo family. When she gets a case where she has to go undercover in an MC, all the old feelings pop up. She also has landed herself on the radar of Knight, Splinter, and Eightball. What started out as a simple snatch and grab has turned into a situation where she is thrown back into the MC life. Boy, I have missed this author’s Underestimated Series. This book was wow. Right up there with book 1, which is Luna’s story. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, but please read each one. The women are strong and resilient personified. The men are brooding, sexy as all get out, bodies like a Greek God, and handsome to boot. The journey of Jinx is one tough ride. For her,everything is an uphill battle even after she meets her men. I couldn’t get enough of this story, and these characters were everything. There are so many twists and turns with an explosive secret at the end. 5 hell yes stars for me.
