I sipped my wine and watched Devynโs face. โTarryn asked if I wanted to take her back to my place.โ
Her eyes narrowed. โThatโs nice.โ
โWeโve had sex before. So I donโt think she wanted to sit on the couch and watch TV.โ
Devynโs face flushed red.
I couldnโt help myself. I wanted to see her get pissedโadmit she was damn jealous.
โYeah, that Tarrynโs a real wild woman in bed. Last time she visited, we broke a lamp. Knocked it right off the end table from the bed bouncing around so much.โ
I watched the muscle flex in her cheek, the same cheek that was turning a lovely shade of crimson. Yet she still wouldnโt look at me.
โDevyn?โ
Her lips pursed as she stared straight ahead.
โDevyn?โ I said louder.
โWhat?โ
โLook at me.โ
Her head whipped to face me, and she stared with daggers in her eyes.
