Moments of Mayhem (The Hunters #3) by T.L Smith is Kenzo’s story. We know from the previous books that Kenzo is not wrapped too tight, and his obsession for blood play is a constant concern. Heck, I was concerned as to what this story would be about. I really enjoyed reading this author’s books, and I love this series. In a fluke encounter, Mayve is now on Kenzo’s radar. She has this condition that effects her eyes, and Kenzo definitely has a fascination with them. Due to her condition, Mayve is self conscious, therefore she doesn’t get out much. When their paths crossed, the fireworks flew. They are also quite the pair. At the sight of blood, Mayve does faint, which is extremely comical considering Kenzo’s love of blood play and his occupation. His feelings for Mayve are confusing him, and Mayve is just as confused about her feelings for Kenzo. I truly enjoyed this story. Of course, seeing the ladies from the previous books is a treat. I would love more books with these characters. 4.5 star read for me.

Moments of Mayhem is the third book in The Hunters series. This is Kenzo Hunter and Mayve Hitchcockโs story. Kenzoโs twin is Kyson from book # 2. Zuko is Kenzo and Kysonโs older brother his book was #1. They are all trained assassins. They โhuntโ, they โfightโ and they โkillโ.
I thought it was ironic that TL Smith mated a pretty serious cutter & an assassin with someone who faints even at the sight of her own blood. Talk about opposites that attract.
I really have loved reading The Hunters series with Zuko, Kyson and now Kenzoโs turn for their story to be told.
This book and series is pretty dark so do look up TWโs if you have any. I am saddened that this is the last book in the series, but I know that whatever T.L. Smith writes I will read!
