This is my first book by Kia Carrington-Russell and it’s no secret that TL Smith is one of my favorite authors. This is Crue Monti and Rya Ricci’s story.

Crue thinks women are only good for one thing, sex and to look beautiful. Rya sure gives him a run for his money! Not as much monetarily but more in her actions. She refuses to be his bride. He knows that she will marry him, or at least he thinks so.

I read this story in one morning. I read it straight through. Once I started reading, I was sucked into the vortex of this book! Yes, it was just that good! I loved it and now I am also interested in reading something by Kia Carrington-Russell. This was a 5 STAR read for me!

Lethal Vows by T.L Smith and Kia Carrington-Russell. This is a cat and mouse game between two people in an arranged marriage. Rya at 16, thought she was leaving Italy and an arranged marriage to Crue Monti 19. She was going to the United States, where she thought she would be free. On that sunny day, Crue 19 informed Rya Ricci 16 that he was her betrothed and he would come for her. Fast forward to Rya’s 30th birthday, and Crue has come to collect his bride. Now, a successful criminal attorney, Rya, has no intention of marrying Crue. Crue has every intention of marrying Rya and making her his Queen. As the emails fly, the sexual tension grows, and the body count rises, I was truly entertained by these two. Crue with his brooding good looks and cut throat persona to not only regain his family dominance in the Mafia but to woe his bride and Rya is determined to hold on to her independence regardless to how Crue makes her body sing. Loved the conclusion to their game of cat and mouse. This author never disappoints. 4 stars for me
