Bridesmaid Undercover is the second book in the Bridesmaid for Hire series. This is Everly Plum and Hardy Hopperโs story. Hardy has asked Everly to help him get back together with his ex-girlfriend.
Of course I love it when characters from other books are included in the authors’ other/spinoff books. The Cane brothers from their own series show up in this book. Hudson and Hardy are in business with the Canes.
They were friends first. But he needed to be hit over the head to see how much he really loved Everly and probably hit over the head because he was handling it all wrong!
If you love cute and angsty romances, then I would say this is the book for you!

โWhen I say no one ever wants to share pizza with me, Iโm not kidding,โ Hardy says as he picks up a piece from our shared pie. The Uber dropped us off at a hole-in-the wall Italian place downtown, and we may as well be in Lady and the Tramp, just minus the spaghetti. โThey always say pineapple isnโt supposed to be on pizza, but I donโt agree.โย
โIโve never had just pineapple, itโs always accompanied by ham or pepperoni, but Iโm not opposed to this. Itโs sweet, and the side of barbeque sauce is a nice surprise.โย
โGood, right?โ Hardy asks, waggling his brows.
โI would say more along the lines of interesting.โ
โHey, Iโll take it,โ he says with a smile. โMaple never liked pineapple on pizza.โ
Which makes me a better fit for Hardy than she is, but weโre not going to mention that or make this a competition because Maple is actually really sweet.ย
But just for my own personal record and satisfaction…ha, Maple, I can share a pizza with Hardy, and you canโt.ย
Okay, pettiness is over.
โShame,โ I say. โBecause itโs good. The dipping sauce Iโm still adjusting to.โย

After he swallows and takes a sip of his drink, he says, โSo, tell me about your day.โ
โPretty sure you know about my day,โ I say.
โYeah, but youโre not eating dinner alone tonight, so act like I donโt know anything about what happened today.โ
Well…that makes my heart nearly beat out of my chest as I look into his perfectly blue eyes. With comments like that, heโs making it next to impossible for me to even think about anyone else but him.ย
