The Rocker’s Muse by Penelope Ward. This story was definitely not what I expected. I always enjoy this author, and I was truly looking forward to any story she would write. She out did herself with this story.ย Emily is at a recording studio in the desert where she runs into Tristan, the lead singer of a famous band. He is taken by the fact that she doesn’t recognize or know him. Emily is there for one thing but ends up with a job going on tour with the band. The relationship between Emily and Tristan starts out as them being able to just hang and talk. Eventually, I begin to develop between them. There is a problem.ย Yes, there is a 15-year age gap, and each comes with emotional baggage. When things get too heavy, Emily ends up leaving the tour. This is when the story went left. A bomb was set off, and I went into a tizzy.ย Oh my!!! This story was brilliant, and I loved every minute of the journey between Emily and Tristan.ย Emotional and touching! The ending was the icing on the cake.ย I was left with the biggest smile on my face, a song in my heart.ย 5 stars for me. I am so looking forward to the next book from this author. Hopefully, I will not have to wait too long.

The Rockerโs Muse is a standalone contemporary Novel. This is Emily Applewood and Tristan Daltreyโs story.
Oh man! I donโt usually start my reviews off with the ending of a book, but it left me with chills down my arms.
Tristan felt wrong for loving Emily since he is 15 years older than her and for another reason, but I canโt share because then that would be a spoiler.
I could feel the chemistry with them, and they were just right for each other. Yet they both kept trying to deny the attraction between them. Fortunately, fate was theirs for them to finally get together.
I always know with this author that I am going to get a book that is good. She is one of those authors that writes feel good romances. And I certainly felt good at the end of this book.
