Villains are Made is the first book in the Gods Among Men series. This is Apollo and Daphne Godwin’s story. Is this Apollo’s story or Ares? I will leave that to you to find out.

This is a dark romance and with that comes all the warnings that come with that genre.
I loved reading this dark and steamy story. The dedication was perfect for me.

Also, I loved the warning.

“Enter this tale at your own risk. It’s dark. It’s dirty. It’s the love story of a villain.”

And, yes it was! Do know that this book has a lot of possible triggers. So proceed with caution if you choose to read Villains are Made.

I love Alta Hensley’s books. She knows just how to make the anti hero into a hero.

The book ending was perfect. Not a regular kind of cliffhanger but the ending that has the story continuing.

Monsters are Hidden is the second book in the Gods Among Men Series. This is Ani Parker (Daphne, book 1 Villains are Made is Ani’s sister) and Phoenix Godwin’s (Apollo, book 1 is Phoenix brothers) story.

Again, I loved this author’s warning.

“Enter this tale at your own risk. It’s dark, It’s dirty. It’s about the monster that makes the scary bumps in the night.”

In all seriousness, if you have triggers and this book is full of possible triggers. Proceed with caution.

As for me I love dark and twisted tales and this book is very good. Phoenix is in charge of security for the family. He has his area in the attic set up. Phoenix suffers from Agoraphobia and doesn’t come down from his area in the attic much. Ani has been healing from a beating she took from her Ex. She is starting to move around more and discovers the source of the noise she has been hearing in the house. She isn’t alone.

If you think that the agoraphobia that Phoenix suffers from makes him any less sadistic and domineering, it doesn’t, and Ani finds that out. Real soon.

Monsters are Hidden has a big cliffhanger and twist! I really need Book 3 NOW. Vipers are Forbidden and it’s Athena Godwin’s turn for her story to be told. 4.5 Stars for this book

Vipers are Forbidden is the third book in the Gods Among Men series. Each of these books in this series can be read as standalones. This is Athena Godwin and Perseus, Heph, Eros and Paris’ story.

Wow so many twists and turns to this story! I love Athena. She was raised to be a strong and merciless woman. She is decisive and knows what she wants. That is until it comes to the bedroom, then she needs a leader. That is where Perseus, Heph, Eros and Paris come in. They certainly know their way around the bedroom, so to speak.

Another book by this author that I love! I love my books just as Alta Hensley writes…
“hot. dark. dirty. Romance”.

It looks like Heathen Hollow is her next book and I will be standing in the proverbial Amazon line waiting for it.

Just so you know whose story is told in each of the books in this series.
