Let me just get this off my chest, then I will write the rest of my review! OMG I loved this book! I have been a fan of TL Smithโs books for a while now and I just love her books!
When He Reads To Me is Milo Savage and Elizabeth โLissieโ Petalโs story. Milo has Lissie read to him. It is a form of payment that he has accepted from Lissieโs husband who pimps out his women. Lissie wonโt let him pimp her out. But she does read to Miles. So you know that her husband isnโt a nice man and it is a loveless marriage. Although, some might say that Miles isnโt either. He is the Prez. of the Savage MC.
Miles refuses to use her name Lissie, he calls her Elizabeth!
I loved reading When He Reads to Me! I was sucked into this book from the beginning to the end!

When He Reads to Me by T.L Smith tells the story of Elizabeth, aka Lissie.
She has been reading to Milo, the president of the town’s MC club. She is paying off her husband’s debt. Lissie is at the mercy of her drug dealer pimp of a husband. Any money she makes, he takes, and she is lucky if he even provides her with enough food to live off of. She should leave him, but he had something on her sister, and she can’t take the risk of this getting out. Milo has a thing for Elizabeth. In fact, he has had it bad for her even before she married that scum of a husband. He knows she will not break her vows. However, that doesn’t stop him from trying. This is a story that had a lot going on. The one constant was the feelings these two had for each other. Regardless of Milo being the president of the MC and being known as a ruthless killer, he had no problem showing his vulnerable side when it came to Elizabeth. Even though everyone else called her Lissie, she was Elizabeth to Milo. Elizabeth hadn’t been intimate with her husband in years, and she knew exactly the type of man he was. Regardless, she knew she deserved to be loved, and she definitely wanted more out of her life. I truly like this author’s stories. She once again came through. I read this book in one setting. Read it straight through, from the beginning to the end. A 4 star read for me. Would love to know more about Milo and Elizabeth.
