I couldnโt have refrained from walking her up her steps. Now weโre standing in the warm October air, the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance, the ocean hugging us. And Iโm not walking awayโnot with her closer than sheโs ever been. I look at her lush mouth one more time, then her gorgeous eyes.ย โAnd if this were a date Iโd kiss you at the door.โ
Sheโs quiet, but her lips curve up. โThatโs not what you said at the restaurant.โ

The Romance Line is the second book in the Love and Hockey series. This is Everly Rosewood and Max Lambertโs story. Everly is the team publicist, and Max is the teamโs goalie for the Sea Dogs.
Everly needs to promote Max he is losing his sponsors due to him not promoting them very much.
I love Everly she is strong, passionate and talks dirty to Max. Max turns his grumpy frown upside down into a smile! I loved his turnaround and personality shift to sunshine.
I really enjoyed reading The Romance Line. I read it in a day because this book had a great story, and I needed to read it!
