When she rejects my attempts to take this thing to the next level, Iโm forced to seek help from none other than Rafferty, who has no idea Iโm banging his little sister. With his assistance, I set out to do the one thing none of those chumps in Farrenโs past have taken the time to doโhelp her face her demons and give her something worth staying for.

North is the 16th book in the Pittsburg Titans series. This is North Paquette and Farren Abramsโ story.
Narrators are Stephen Dexter & Savannah Peachwood, both new to me narrators. I loved when they voiced the primary characters North and Farren. Stephen has a sexy voice and when he spoke each of the parts for the male characters, it was great. It is a little harder for someone with a deeper voice to speak the female characters. Savannah did a fantastic job with the vocals for the female characters and again it is a little hard to speak the male characters parts. But all in all, it was great to listen to them bring the book alive.
Farren came from Calgary, and she is leaving it all behind. She runs all the way to Pittsburg. Where her big brother, Rafferty is. Also, where North is her previous hook up. (BTW, Raffertyโs story was told in book 15 of the same name).
Farren is a runner. She is a commitment phobe. That is what she always does when things get close to the heart, she runs. She tries her best to keep things casual and lets North know it is only about the sex, but is it? North wants more from Farren and lets her know it.
I really enjoyed this story of push and run the other way! Farren is fun and sexy when she isnโt running. Farren wouldnโt let him in but North keeps trying until he doesnโt anymore. I loved Farrenโs big brother, Rafferty for stepping in.
This was a good book, and I am really looking for Pennโs story next!

Lita’s Book Review: 4 Stars
North (Pittsburgh Titans #16) by Sawyer Bennett. North Paquette is shocked when Farren Abrams moves to town. She is the little sister of his second line teammate Rafferty. North and Farren have hooked up a couple of times when she has been in town. Now she is her permanently or until she runs again. While here, Farren has decided she wants not only to continue to see North but to be exclusive but not serious. There are just a few issues with this arrangement. The number one issue is going behind Rafferty’s back. The next issue is that North doesn’t want a casual relationship. He wants something serious that will lead to more. Farren, on the other hand, has an issue that causes her to run from serious relationships. However, she really likes North. This was quite the story of North and Farren struggling to find an equal balance to their relationship. While navigating their relationship, the author set up the next book. Penn is next, and we get to see some of his demons while the author drops crumbs regarding what has caused his attitude. I can say I liked this book but not as much as the others. For me, the story was heavy on Penn and not on North and Farren. They could have had a novella. It’s still a 4-star read for me.
